Benchtop Leak Detector for Rigid Product Seal Leak Detection

It is equipped with an innovative feature that allows a seal test to be performed before a leak test. Designed for products with a rigid form, such as closed cups or rigid tray packaging, the SLT-M offers comprehensive testing capabilities. During the seal test, the SLT-M forms a vacuum chamber with the closed lid, sucking the membrane to the outer plate of the lid.

This process places the seal in a vacuum of 300 millibar for 10 seconds to assess its integrity. Once the seal test is complete, the SLT automatically transitions to the leak test phase. The SLT-M uses a rigid base plate to minimize the volume within the test chamber, ensuring precise testing conditions. The initial shape of the rigid plate is custom-made in collaboration with the customer to ensure optimal performance.

How to calibrate the sensor of a fluorescence oxygen analyzer

Learn how to calibrate and process PreSens oxygen microsensors to achieve the most precise oxygen measurement with high spatial resolution. PreSens oxygen sensors are miniaturized optical oxygen sensors. They are based on 140 μm and 230 μm silica fibers and are therefore very fragile.

This video shows how to calibrate these sensors and how to make measurements in most different applications, such as inside tissue, blister packs, medicine vials, etc. Oxygen sensors are available in different designs. Needle-type microsensors are housed in a stainless steel needle, protecting the fragile sensor when piercing semi-solid or solid materials.

Oxygen sensors have several important functions:
